Omni is a high-performance layer 1 blockchain that aims to connect all rollups and eliminate liquidity fragmentation among layer 2 networks. Omni allows developers to create cross-rollup applications and expand existing applications across all rollups. OMNI tokens are used to pay for Omni EVM gas fees and function as the universal gas resource for cross-rollup communications. OMNI tokens can also be staked to secure the network.
