Argon (ARGON) is a blockchain-based freelancer platform that works on the Binance Chain network. Argon focuses on reducing issues faced by freelancers while working with international clients and on other global platforms.
As per the whitepaper, freelancers across the globe have to deal with several types of trouble including excessive commission fees, uncertainty over international platforms, and delayed payments. Argon plans on removing them. The platform also aims to offer the technology required to protect labor and finances.
Argon consists of three parties—the customer, freelancer, and approver. Customers post job opportunities and eventually receive diverse offers from freelancers active on this platform. Approvers act as intermediaries and ensure that both parties are satisfied with the quality of work. All three parties register their respective wallets on the platform. Thus, the platform provides transparent payments and commissionless operations. The fee is protected with ArgonShield, which helps to remove freelancer stress.
Argon is decentralized and works with smart contracts, thus reducing the chances of lost data. Smart contracts are like regular contracts; however, instead of being outlined on paper, these contracts run in the form of protocols on the blockchain.
ARGON is the native token of the Argon platform. To avail themselves of the opportunities within the platform, users must acquire ARGON. The ARGON token transfers are feasible through the Binance Chain and Ethereum networks. ARGON token distribution is as follows: 2% ARGON tokens are reserved for charity, 35% for public sale, and 5% for research and development.
According to the website, the platform dedicates its efforts to expanding its reach and enlarging the community. ArgonCharity is one of the projects that the platform is building presently. ArgonCharity is an association that works to help people in need by allocating funds gained through ARGON token trade.
