The mechanism performs two functions—it rewards players for interacting with the platform and utilizing the tokens and helps in decentralizing the platform. Thetan Arena says that the two-token economy will also help improve the ecosystem’s sustainability and scalability. 

The THG token functions as the platform’s utility token. THG token can function as a medium of exchange between network participants. The Thetan Arena was launched by Wolffun Game, an organization founded in 2014 as an online mobile PvP gaming platform. Wolffun launched its first game in the action genre, called Tank Raid Online, in 2015. The platform was cofounded by Khanh Nguyen, Hoang So, and Yoko. Nguyen is the CEO, Hoang is the CTO, and Yoko is the CFO of Wolffun Game. The core team includes COO Danny Doan and CMO Dung Phan, apart from the cofounders. Thetan Arena was launched in Q4 of 2021. According to a report by GlobeNewswire, the game had more than 5 million active users after the first week of launch.

Primarily, THG tokens are earned by staking NFT on the platform. Players can earn THG tokens by participating in the tournaments and winning rewards. The platform also conducts special events that allow players to earn THG tokens. Additionally, by participating in the marketplace, users can earn THG tokens.

THG has a maximum supply of 420,000,000 tokens. 21% of the tokens are to be issued by staking, and 19% are to be issued as gaming rewards. 10% of the tokens are available for strategic sale, and 5% is reserved to provide liquidity to the platform.
