Playermon is a play-to-earn game where players explore and battle in the universe with space companions called Playermons. In the game, players can colonize planets, fight other players with the help of playermons, and earn resources.
Ever since the introduction of play-to-earn gaming, the entire gaming world has seen immense growth in transactions and the total number of active users. Playermon platform believes that there is enormous potential in the NFT gaming scene and intends to combine the scene with the mobile gaming industry. Here are some essential features of the platform:
PYM is the native governance token and DeFi token of the Playermon platform, which gives token holders the authority to make decisions regarding the future of the Playermon gaming world. The token also has many utilities in the game, purchasing essential items, upgrading and breeding pets, collecting rare Playermon on different planets, and building colonial bases in space with ornamental assets designed by the community. The token can also be staked to earn rewards.
The platform consists of Space Gem (SGEM) as the in-game token, which is used to purchase essential objects and characters, upgrade items, give rewards for completing conquests missions, and defeat opponents.
Playermon was conceptualized in May 2021 by huge fans of Pokemon Trading Card Games and Animal Crossing videos. Their love for conventional gaming and their knowledge of blockchain technology pushed these fans to develop a space-themed adventure game with open-world gameplay.
