The platform is a one-stop DApp factory that uses Polkadot multichain blockchain to facilitate compatibility with DeFi and Web 3.0platforms. DApps are applications or games that are based on and driven by decentralized protocols such as Ethereum. Web 3.0is an evolved state of the web that empowers full ownership over their content, data, and assets via blockchains.
Furthermore, PolkaFoundry (PFK) seeks to provide every individual on the planet with the entire ownership and the flexibility to use their important assets in a digitalized, safe, and accessible manner. The technology is designed to provide a decentralized solution to cloud computing platforms.
PKF_ _coin is the native token for PolkaFoundry. It is an Ethereum ERC-20 token. For added rewards, token holders stake their tokens for collators and pay transaction fees. Furthermore, token holders can also stake their tokens to contribute to the on-chain governance process and receive incentives for voting on suggestions. The platform follows a one-click token issuing process in which the users only have to fill out a form to get a token.
PolkaFoundry is made up of a public blockchain as well as many DApp developer support services such as identification (PolkaID), document storage (DocuGuard), and Oracle services (Decentralized Gate). The platform features unique UX elements that allow it to reach a significantly larger audience. PolkaID is designed to address the issue of private keys being stolen or lost. The technology seeks to encode a user's private key, divide it into pieces, and securely store it on several different and safe key management services. In addition, the network allows users to sign transactions with their signing key rather than the private key.
