The whitepaper states that Nerve Finance is an automated market maker (AMM), mainly created for the users to trade pegged assets and stablecoins on the Binance Smart Chain. Automated market maker (AMM) enables trading of digital items without involving any intermediaries, thereby reducing transaction fees for all the traders. Pegged cryptocurrency is an encrypted digital source of exchange having value linked with some other source of exchange such as traditional currency like gold.
The fees on the Ethereum network provide negligible value to most of the users. Therefore, the launch of Nerve took place intending to accomplish the value for decentralized finance (DeFi) without any restrictions. The team created the platform to seek to offer low-slippage or zero-slippage due to swapping of stablecoins on the BSC network. The platform is an improved cross-chain bridge for liquidity providers and traders. Liquidity providers are traders staking their cryptocurrency on DEXes to get transaction fees.
Nerve Finance seeks to offer its users the opportunity to trade, bridge, earn, borrow, and lend to users. Users can stableswap on BSC and transfer up to 30 million tokens from BSC to some other network such as Ethereum (ETH) or Bitcoin (BTC), using Nerve bridge. The designing of the swapping algorithm of the Nerve platform is done explicitly for pegged tokens. Also, with the help of the Nerve bridge, users can seek to transfer a huge amount of ETH or BTC between BSC and their corresponding networks involving minimum convenience cost. Moreover, the Nerve platform is noncustodial, which implies that the platform's developers cannot access the tokens of the users.
The symbol for the Nerve Finance token is NRV. It is a BEP-20 token, a token standard that enables users to position cryptocurrencies on BSC.
The token's main utility seeks to include rewarding the stakers and liquidity providers. The NRV token can also be utilized for voting as it is a governance token. The governance feature aims to release the possibility to direct currency flows to the token holders, enhance their rewards, or minimize the swapping fees for using the platform.
