Million Token (MM) is a social media-driven memecryptocurrency that works on the DeFi system. The currency claims itself a ‘cryptocurrency for millionaires by millionaires.’ This decentralized cryptocurrency is pegged to the value of USDC and aims to keep on increasing with scarcity.
Million aims to solve various issues like the problems that have affected the Ethereumblockchain, for example, high gas fees, slow speeds, and failed transactions. Further, it aims to solve teething issues with other coins. And lastly, it seeks to address the limitations of assets being on a single blockchain that doesn’t support scalability, PoW systems, and antiquated technologies.
As stated in the whitepaper, these issues can be overcome via this token as it seeks to offer features like the following:
MM is an ERC-20 token of a Million ecosystem. Every MM token can be traded in fractional amounts of 18 decimal digits. Million is a decentralized governance platform that seeks to help token holders to attain voting rights and ownership in the community. Token holders can engage in this ecosystem by offering liquidity on various services. Engagement in the liquidity pools seeks to produce a source of wealth creation and fees payable to providers. Liquidity pools help users trade cryptocurrencies on decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
Patrick Shyu (YouTuber TechLead) founded the Million token. The token was launched on July 1, 2021, on the Ethereum blockchain. Also, the project was audited within the same month of its launch by Certik Blockchain Security.
