MicroPets is a place to get virtual pets to play, stake, and earn. In other words, MicroPets are meme-inspired non-fungible tokens (NFTs). MicroPets aims to create a fun and engaging environment for users, investors, and the community. The asset’s protocol selects trending memes and bundles them into pets that users can trade or stake to earn rewards.
The MicroPets ecosystem is powered by its native token, PETS, which is located on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The token can be used to make game purchases, stake rewards, and handle transaction fees. The asset is also used to buy crates to get random MicroPets. Subsequently, each NFT is equipped with its own distinctive feature, adding to its value. The rarer the MicroPet, the higher the value and better the staking reward.
The MicroPets network has created a dedicated decentralized application (DApp), a marketplace to get a crate and start the trade. The DApp also allows users to level up their pets, access the marketplace shop, trade crates as an individual or stack, and view their inventory. Users can earn rewards for the rarity and staking power of their pets. Additionally, token holders can buy treats from the marketplace and feed them to their NFT pets. The more mature and grown-up the pet, the higher the reward.
The MicroPets platform has built special-edition crates featuring holiday themes and limited-edition NFTs based on the current hype within the network. The team is dedicated to delivering express turnaround time and a continuous stream of content.
MicroPets seeks to launch a play-to-earn (P2E) game called MicroPets Runner, special NFT releases, a DApp metaverse named MicroVerse, and NFT farming.
The MicroPets ecosystem was launched in early 2021 by Saint Nick, the chief executive officer. Ryan is the chief marketing officer and is a business and marketing expert with 15 years of experience. Leading the team of developers is chief technology officer Tony, with over 20 years of diverse industry experience. PETS has a maximum total supply of ten trillion tokens.
