FAQ
Apis (APIS) is a platform that seeks to provide services for better node management along with better access to blockchain incentive systems. The platform aims to help corporate and individual users effectively participate in desired master nodes. Masternodes are nodes in the cryptocurrency world that perform particular functions other than relaying transactions. Also, the platform supports various devices like PC and mobile that seek to enable the user to receive periodic rewards and enjoy other benefits of cryptocurrencies. Apis aims to create a decentralized finance ecosystem that can connect the real economy with the blockchains system. Furthermore, the platform aims to apply blockchain technology to several industries that decrease the unjustified reward system due to disparity in information.
As per the whitepaper, the purpose of the platform is to decrease the barriers to the entrance of masses into the crypto world. Apis aims to achieve it by implying smart contracts on canvas as the platform believes most of the contracts do not meet user needs. Here the developers can register elements of UI written in HTML while deploying it on the blockchain. Also, the platform realized that in the blockchain world, hexadecimal addresses are nearly impossible to use without copy-paste. So, for masses, Apis utilizes the Address Masking technique where anyone can register with a simple address and then be rerouted to the hexadecimal address.
Furthermore, the platform identified that most cryptocurrencies charge small amounts for using resources to transfer currency. Therefore, it aims to act as a barrier for people who want to use currency every day. So, the platform seeks to employ a system where a separate currency named Mineral is used. Users can obtain minerals by using APIS when required, and also they can be granted as a reward for keeping APIS tokens in wallets.
APIS is the official cryptocurrency and the mainnet coin used in the Apis Platform and Apis Core. The APIS coin can be purchased through several trading platforms, and it can be acquired in the Apis Core by forwarding other cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum to the APIS wallet.
Overall, Apis seeks to offer a service platform that is highly attainable for the end user phase. Along with the blockchain network, the platform aims to help other PoS and DPoS projects, by providing options to users and chances of growth for project owners.
The platform team employs Ronny Yoo as the CEO, Iwen Jang as CIO, and Mizushima Ryota as COO. The project started in 2016 with market research, and later in December 2017, the official whitepaper was released.
