GENE is the native cryptocurrency of the Parkgene platform. Built on the ERC-20 architecture, GENE functions as a utility token. Likewise, Parkgene intends to collect GENE tokens for all other services integrated on the platform. Users can also give away these tokens whenever they wish.
Parkgene was officially launched in May 2018, while the initial whitepaper was launched in September 2017. Initial coin offering (ICO) for the GENE token was conducted in January 2018, and the Beta testing began in February 2018. The Parkgene platform is headed by CEO Ilias Louis Hatzis, COO Giannis Ramfos, CTO John Zarifis, and CFO Nikolas Skarlatos. The GENE token has a maximum total supply of 350,000,000 coins, 10% of which is reserved for the development team and advisers.
