RPG (Rangers Protocol Gas) is the native token of Rangers Protocol. Users, developers, financiers, and ecological nodes within the protocol function by exchanging RPG tokens. Additionally, Rangers Protocol has built a token purchase and stake mechanism, which means that developers must buy and stake RPG tokens to use the platform. When customers use or finance in Rangers Protocol-based applications, they must also purchase and consume RPG tokens. They can, for example, pay tokens to app creators.
Zksun is Rangers Protocol's CEO and cofounder. He works as a technical expert at the Shanda Group Innovation Institute on the Instant Message software system. Jade is another cofounder and an advisor for the company. She was a former Ubisoft Entertainment core developer who worked on Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia games. Mary also is a cofounder and an advisor to the company. She is also the cofounder of Mixmarvel and has a strong business background. The whitepaper was released in March 2022. The RPG token has a total supply of 21 million.
