Investment risk
Baseline risk: All crypto-assets are risky, regardless of the type of token you hold. Here are some 'baseline' risks to be aware of before deciding to invest.
Investment risk: The performance of most crypto-assets can be highly volatile, with their value dropping as quickly as it can rise. You should be prepared to lose all the money you invest in crypto-assets.
Lack of protections: Crypto-assets are largely unregulated and neither the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) nor the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) will protect you in the event something goes wrong with your crypto-asset investments.
Crypto-assets are complex: It may be difficult to understand the risks associated with a crypto-asset investment. Do your own research and if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Don't put all your eggs in one basket: Putting all your money into a single type of investment is risky. Spreading your money across different investments makes you less dependent on any one to do well. A good rule of thumb is not to invest more than 10% of your money in high-risk investments such as crypto-assets.

FAQ
Radworks is a community-governed network that seeks to cultivate internet freedom by building and supporting new, resilient, permissionless technologies. The network is the driving force behind Radicle, a peer-to-peer network for code collaboration built on Git, and Drips, a peer-to-peer fund sharing and splitting solution built on Ethereum. Radworks operates under a decentralized governance system, represented by the $RAD governance token. The network's commitment to promoting freedom, privacy, and decentralization in the technology realm distinguishes it. It aims to empower builders and creators to collaborate with freedom, fostering an ecosystem that prioritizes resilience, sustainability, and accessibility.
Radworks operates through a decentralized governance system, powered by the $RAD governance token. This system allows the community to have a say in the direction of the network's efforts and the projects it supports. Radworks is composed of Orgs, which represent different groups of contributors supported from its treasury. To obtain support, Orgs must pass annual budget proposals through Radworks governance. Each Org has the autonomy to choose its governance models, manage its resources, and run its organizations. Radworks currently supports the development of two technologies: Radicle, a peer-to-peer network for code collaboration, and Drips, a peer-to-peer fund sharing and splitting solution.
Radworks aims to support and foster the development of censorship-resistant and decentralized technologies, thereby empowering builders and creators to collaborate with freedom. The network's primary use cases revolve around its two main projects: Radicle and Drips. Radicle is a peer-to-peer network for code collaboration, providing a decentralized alternative for code collaboration. On the other hand, Drips is a peer-to-peer fund sharing and splitting solution, enabling new value flows for developers to receive resources from their users and supporters. By endorsing and providing resources to builders of these technologies, Radworks seeks to contribute to a more decentralized future for software development.
Radworks was founded by Monadic, a Berlin-based software company focused on open-source software collaboration. The project was initially known as Radicle, an open-source project aimed at re-imagining free and open-source software collaboration with protocols. In 2021, the Radicle Foundation was established to coordinate the development of the Radicle project. The network's native governance token, $RAD, was launched, leading to the formation of the RadicleDAO, which allowed the community of $RAD holders to govern the project's Treasury and smart contracts. In May 2023, the project split into two products: Radicle and Drips, both of which became independent, DAO-supported Orgs within the DAO, now known as Radworks. Today, the community continues to collectively govern the Radworks treasury, supporting Orgs that align with the Radworks purpose.
