The platform provides the infrastructure for others to build financial instruments, such as synthetic stock trading platforms, options, futures trading, and more. According to the whitepaper, DEUS Finance is a peer-to-peer bilateral contract system that allows digitized derivatives to be cleared between two parties in a trustless way. Derivatives help in the continuation of economic growth, and as a tool, reduces risk exposure, which is a significant part of protecting earnings and building a substantial portfolio.
The ecosystem of DEUS Finance offers the following features to its users:
DEUS token is the utility token of the DEUS Finance ecosystem that is placed in the DEI stablecoin and is used as a governance token. DEUS represents the fractional portion of DEI. DEI is a cross-chain stablecoin that backs the economy of the DEUS token. A governance token is a token that empowers its owners to participate in the voting to shape the future of a protocol. Token owners can use DEUS coins for the governance of the DEUS DAO (decentralized autonomous organization).
Token owners can mint the DEUS coins to yield farm rewards. Users can purchase DEI coins that burn the DEUS coins and create a deflationary force for the DEUS coins. The platform offers rewards to liquidity providers for providing parameters such as price, maintenance margin, and funding rate.
