Amp was launched in 2020 by Flexa, a blockchain-based payments company headquartered in New York. Spalding has been involved in blockchain projects since 2011, bringing extensive experience to the development of Amp. The Amp ecosystem is fully open-source and decentralized, with smart contracts designed to minimize user risk.
