GUM is the native ERC20 utility token of the platform built on top of the  Ethereum blockchain with the support of Polkadot. GUM is utilized as the primary incentive reward token. GUM is also used to gain access to the platform, play games, and make ecosystem governance decisions like deciding fees, future game features, and more. Furthermore, the Gourmet-Galaxy network also seeks to expand the ecosystem to be compatible with blockchains other than Ethereum.

Thomas Johnson is the founder of the Gourmet-Galaxy network. He serves as the CEO of the platform. The Gourmet-Galaxy team also includes Kayra St Ford serving as chief technical officer, Kunchok Tsomo as chief marketing officer, Blue OP as blockchain programmer, Pulkit Bhutani as senior engineer, and various other members.
