HitChain provides a platform for developers to automatically redeem the value of innovation and creativity with compensation (currency value) and privileges (currency right). The self -governed system will guarantee that each member has the responsibility and right to participate in community decisions. HitChain community and the platform it runs on will embrace autonomy, democracy, transparency and fairness without any third-party intermediaries or centralized supervision. The HitChain platform came into existence when it was observed that most hardworking developers could not earn from their contribution. Open-source is revolutionizing the software industry, and more and more companies such as IBM and Google are adopting this field. Open-source developers are the main force behind this movement. Even after all this, the developers are still at the farthest end in the value chain of the tech industry.

The team setup of HitChain was done in 2018. Jiang Li is the chairman and director of HitChain. He has great expertise in blockchain, cloud computing, and open-source ecology. He is responsible for the overall mechanism of HitChain. KheeJoo Tan is the director of HitChain, who has served as a technology executive in numerous transnational soft corporations. Leon Li is the director of the HitChain foundation, leading the open-source system in the HitChain team.
