CropBytes is a virtual economy game. In other words, it is a crypto-based business game. The platform was created to make real value for players. Players spend much time and resources on games. So CropBytes aims to bring together the best of gaming space and the ever-green economy that uses cryptocurrency to connect the real and virtual worlds.
CryptoBytes seeks to be a virtual world that allows players to create, raise, and nurture farmland while contributing to the economy's growth. The game comprises three roles, i.e., farmer, trader, and owner. They cultivate crops or raise barn animals, supply resources or trade within the community, and continue to earn and win rewards as the player progresses. Thus, the platform seeks to drive real-world value creation through a virtual economy game.
CropBytes token is the native token in the CropBytes metaverse. The token acts as a multifunctional in-game currency giving users a medium of exchange in a decentralized manner. Players can mine the CBX token by playing the game and participating in activities and quests. The purpose of introducing CBX is to establish a convenient and safe mode of payment and settlement between players who interact within the ecosystem on CropBytes. However, the token is not intended to be a medium of exchange used by the public as payment for goods or services. Briefly, metaverse can be defined as a simulated digital environment that uses augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and blockchain, along with ideas from social media, to create virtual spaces for a rich user interaction mimicking the real world.
In order to generate rare in-game assets, a player must burn CBX. CBX may be burned for several use cases such as to buy Gen 0 Superheroes, enhance farm output, for Superhero breeding, and many more. In short, crypto asset burning is when a fraction of tokens are sent to a wallet with no private key to reduce availability and increase market value.
CropBytes was founded in 2018. Sandeep Kumar is the CEO of CropBytes.
The CBX ICO was held from October 28, 2021, to November 5, 2021, at 1 CBX = $0.1 raising $300,000.
The maximum total supply is 500,000,000 CBX.
