The Sandlot (HUSTLE) is a decentralized application (Dapp) platform focused on the development of enhance-able non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The platform aims to bring technology to the market that allows fan art NFTs of athletes and musicians to be autographed. In a world where NFTs can be strengthened with an additional layer of data from a verified source, the Sandlot network aims to enhance the use case of the NFTs. From autographable fan art to the mixing of new music, smart contracts on the blockchain are used to track and compensate for the process. Smart contracts are just like regular contracts; however, instead of being drafted on paper, these contracts run in the form of protocols on the blockchain.

With enhance-abled NFTs, things can be properly documented or initiated, such as house deeds. In this case, NFTs can be easily transferred from one owner to another, and a new layer of data enfolds around that property. Consequently, every smart feature becomes accessible to the owner, such as locking and unlocking the door. Similarly, from music collaborations where each part of the song is a separate layer of data minted over each other until the song is deployed on the blockchain as an asset. This allows each artist participating in the creative process to be automatically compensated.

As per its whitepaper, the network has HUSTLE as the native utility token. The primary use case of the token is to pay for processing transactions and storing data fees. The name of the HUSTLE token has been inspired by the renowned baseball player Mr. Hustle. 

The Sandlot platform intends to create the unique and sought-after fan art of athletes and musicians and provide the utility of the said pieces of art to be autographed either virtually or in person. Simultaneously, the network delivers the technology necessary to meet demand and provide the market with assets that are useful.

Tyler Lyon and Danny Fawcett founded the Sandlot platform in November 2021. HUSTLE has a total supply of 1,000,000,000,000 tokens.
