Energi aims to generate higher yields for every coin put into the ecosystem. Therefore, funds from the treasury are distributed as rewards to contributors yielding maximum value.
Next, Energi allows masternode owners to vote and propose strategies deciding efficient use of resources in the blockchain. For example, masternodes vote on freezing funds or ways to direct funds right. In addition to the masternode network, Energi uses on-chain governance to benefit users with enhanced security features. Hence, Energi maintains a decentralized structure without letting go of the platform’s goals.
Energiuses NRG as the official utility token of the platform. The platform primarily works on a Proof-of-Stake consensus model, allowing NRG holders to continue staking coins on the network and win token rewards in return. Also, NRG is distributed as a reward to the masternodes for voting on proposals and increasing the treasury gains. As the website cites, approximately one million NRG is created every month.
