AIN token is an ERC-20 utility token for accessing services available on the blockchain. The tokens can be used to secure stable resources as service qualities such as real-timeliness. A governing entity on the platform facilitates the operation, promotion, and development of the AI Network blockchain through a consensus among the network's validator nodes, developers, and resource providers. This mechanism seeks to ensure that coin minting continues until total computing power in the AI Network has grown enough to warrant the minting of additional coins. Minting means creating new coins by validating information and recording that information into the blockchain. In contrast, coin burninghappens when total computing power utilized throughout AI Network services has degraded significantly. Cryptocurrency burning is when a fraction of tokens are sent to a wallet with no private key. This means the tokens are lost forever. Tokens are usually burned to reduce availability and increase market value.
